The stitches of life: Time flies!

Time flies!

I honestly thought that once fall started I'd have more time to blog--as you can see that hasn't been the case ;). Things just went crazy (at least for us) once they got into school and we haven't really had time to catch our breath since. This is Ian's year to blossom--I feel like I'm watching a prize flower unfurl it's petals :). He came home the first day of school and announced "I want to be a patrol, and I want to be in strings, and I want to join cub scouts!" So he's in all three activities, and Brendan is in Cub Scouts as well. There's a meeting every week and an activity at least 2 weekends a month so that's kept us hopping (Dave more than me though as he's in charge of that particular activity ;). Then I went to Hershey for the Stitching festival the last weekend in September, Dave went to Vegas the weekend after that, and my friend Laura came to visit this week :). We leave for Disney on Monday and I'm beginning to have a panic attack--there are so many things left to do! At least that's how it feels, but when I look at my lists I see it's not as bad as I thought. I'm also panicking because I've planned the whole trip, have all the documents, am in charge of all the arrangements etc. I'm terrified I'll forget something important! If the trip goes well I can take all the credit, but if something happens I'll blame myself and I can't stand the thought of ruining their first Disney trip ;).

So having typed this in the hopes of it calming me down, I now have to be off to finish last minute errands ;). When I come back I'll post a trip report and pictures!
