Day 2--Epcot part 2
After a bit of rest and baths/showers we met our friend Jill in the lobby and headed over to Epcot for dinner at San Angel Inn. There's a great photopass picture of all of us in front of the dome, but I can't figure out how to upload it here ;). Dinner was eh, which I was a bit bummed about because I *really* wanted to love this place. The nachos were great though, and I'd be willing to give it another try if they had a better selection for kids--the boys were not impressed with 1 chicken tender and didn't like the pasta it came with. After dinner we all rode the ride which was really cute. Brendan loved it and wanted to ride again, so he and I went again while the others looked around in the marketplace, and Ian hammed it up for the camera:
Before we went in it was hot and awful, but when we came out the sun was setting and we got to gaze at this:
As we passed Norway the boys said they wanted to ride Maelstrom so we went over, but they were having a technical glitch and the line was too long to wait for a ride that wasn't on our top list ;). So we made our way over to China to get a good seat for the acrobats. Dave was messing with the settings on the camera, so the pics didn't come out like he wanted, but these are okay ;)
As we worked our way around the showcase looking for ice cream for the boys, it became apparent that I wasn't going to get to England with them in tow ;). By the time we got to Morocco Ian was done, so they all sat on the benches by Mo'Rockin's stage and I went off to England . I didn't see as much as I would have liked because it was getting time to stake out a place for Illuminations, but at least I got to have an iced tea from the Twinnings iced tea bar (the only F&W kiosk I did) and to shop in their store a bit . When I came back Mo'Rockin played a set--boy were they good!
These little girls were so cute! The belly dancer was really good with them :)

A long walk to the bus stop and what seemed like a long ride back and soon we were back at the hotel. It was a fantastic day, no major problems and we saw almost eveyone's top favorite attractions (I was the only one who didn't get to see everything I wanted, and that was okay ). Next up, day 3 and Animal Kingdom!

As it turned out we weren't in the best position for Illuminations, which is what I had feared. But there was no way the boys were going to move any more than they had to, and forcing the issue would have gotten me nothing but tears, so we decided to stay put. We were still able to see the fireworks pretty well, and that's really all they cared about since they didn't know all that was involved ;). Next time we'll pick a different spot though! The firework pictures didn't come out well so I'm not going to post them here, but the shot of the dome at night did:
