Day 2--Epcot part 1

We got a wake up call from Stitch (boy is he loud!) at 6:30. Got up, dressed and were out the door to the food court for breakfast around 7. Made it to the bus stop by about 7:30 and got to Epcot a couple of minutes after they opened. We had to take this picture of course ;)

Headed right for Soarin' (along with everyone else ;), got our fastpasses and waited in a pretty short line (about 10 min.). We all loved this ride--so cool! Here are my cool dudes waiting (sort of) patiently ;)

After that we went across the park to Test Track, with Dave stopping to take a picture of my favorite pavillion (which unfortunately we didn't hit this trip):

The standby line said a wait of 10 min. so we went on in and got right up to the doors--so far so good! Then they had a technical problem so we actually ended up waiting about 20 min.--not bad but it threw off my tour timing ;). We all liked it and the boys loved it--they couldn't decide if that or Soarin' was their favorite ride . Then it was on to Mission Space where they all rode and I waited. Even in the shade it was hot! We hadn't noticed it too much the day before because most of the walking we did was after sunset, but walking around Epcot it was really noticable. Now I'm from DC, so I'm no stranger to heat and humidity, but the sun is much stronger in Florida which of course really makes a difference. I wasn't too thrilled with the thought that it was going to be like this our whole trip but it got much better (more on that later). Anyway, after they got done with Mission Space we headed over to the Seas pavillion--we had ADRs at the Coral Reef at 11:30 so we had time to hit the Seas with Nemo and Turtle Talk before then. Brendan was so cute--when he saw the seagulls he ran up to them yelling "my very first Disney audioanimatronics!"

Both were very cool--I love how they got the Nemo characters in the actual tank! And Turtle Talk was awesome--it was even one of Dave's favorites :). We got to the restaurant a little early and were one of the first families there--fortunately because since we were one of the first ones seated we got a table next to the tank--so cool! A ray came and rested right "next" to us and then a huge sea turtle took a nap there too! The boys had fun watching the fish and identifying them and so did we :). After lunch we used our fastpasses and rode Soarin' one more time and then headed back to the hotel for a rest. Before we left we got a family picture at the fountain in front of the dome:

On the bus ride back Brendan was a bit tired:
After Dave took that picture Brendan wanted to take one, so Dave gave him the camera and he took this:

Back at the hotel we took pictures of some of the Halloween decorations on the way to our rooms:

And when we got back to the rooms we found these (they were originally on the floors of our bathrooms):

Up next--our Epcot evening!
